The Royal Award recognises and honours one exceptional individual who has excelled in advancing Islamic finance globally through outstanding performance and contribution, beyond commercial achievements.
Towards ensuring the successful delivery of The Royal Award and in meeting the strategic objective, an international group of selected individuals with experience and knowledge in the field of Islamic finance, will form the Selection Committee to strengthen the nomination process by ensuring deserving candidates are nominated for The Royal Award.
In effort to ensure The Royal Award continues to play a significant role in promoting development and innovation in Islam finance globally, two new prizes have been introduced in conjunction with The Royal Award namely the Emerging Leader Prize and Impact Challenge Prize.
Towards ensuring the successful delivery of the additional prizes, and in meeting the strategic objective, an international group of selected individuals with experience and knowledge in the field of Islamic finance, will form the Selection Committee to select deserving winners for each category.
The Committee will evaluate and select the recipient(s) for Emerging Leader Prize and Impact Challenge Prize. For the Impact Challenge Prize, the selection process will be done jointly with the organizers, alongside the appointed technical partners.
